Your swimming pool is a great source of practice and relaxation. Kids and adults can while away many summer afternoons swimming, floating, and splashing. To legitimately get the most out of your swimming pool, reconsider adding some sports to the mix. The same games you play on dry land are also ready in poolside versions. If you have an above-ground pool, there are models whose base clips to the edge of the pool. There are also stand-alone baskets that can be mounted into the cement beside the pool. Other more expensive models can be rolled in and away when needed. You can even buy a backboard in your beloved team's colors with their logo, if you like.

A pool volleyball set will usually comprise two bases, a net, and a ball. The bases are filled with water and settled on the sidewalk around the pool with the net strung in the middle of them. Some volleyball set-ups highlight floating bases that are anchored to submerged weights so they won't float away while you're playing.

Assembly for the most beloved units is a breeze. In most cases, all you need to do is fill the base with water and attach whether the net or the backboard. The more transportable units, once assembled, just swing into place when you're ready to have fun.

Prices for these systems can vary from under one hundred dollars to a few hundred. Of course, you can spend a few thousand dollars on a professional quality, constantly mounted basketball hoop.
